Tapes are available for NCSD District Members only; non-members may NOT borrow tapes.

As part of its services to member districts and their teaching staffs, the Northeast Consortium for Staff Development maintains a library of up-to-date video tapes about professional practices.

The Consortium's collection consists mainly of tapes produced by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and The Video Journal. Both organizations provide guidebooks that accompany their video programs. Consortium instructors and all staff from districts can borrow tapes. We strongly recommend previewing tapes before using them.

The tapes are a major resource for leaders of local staff development seminars and study groups. In additions, groups of teachers can use the videotapes to further their own investigations into the professional value of particular teaching processes.
