Assessing Math Concepts Institute K-3

The Merrimack Education Center's Professional Development Program is pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring the highly acclaimed and popular Kathy Richardson's Math Perspectives, Assessing Math Concepts Institute K-3.

We are offering this five-day program on a first-come, first-served basis.

Date:	Monday - Friday, July 7-11, 2008
Location:	40 Linnell Circle, Billerica, MA
Cost:	$650 (includes refreshments and lunch)
PDPs:	30
Time:	8:30am - 4:00pm

At an additional cost of $250, students may take the course for 3 graduate credits through Fitchburg State College.

Program audience: GRades K-3 - classroom teachers, math coordinators, curriculum specialists, special needs teachers and building administrators.

We will need at least 26 participants and no more than 42. The last time this institute was offered in Massachusetts, it "booked" in 48 hours. We will need a written response to include the following:
