Welcome to our website. As Executive Director, I am very proud of our organization.

For over forty years, parents, school administrators, and educators have placed their confidence and trust in the Merrimack Education Center (MEC) and the Merrimack Special Education Collaborative (MSEC) to seek new, innovative ways to respond to individual and community education needs in an ever-changing environment.

MSEC provides special education programs and vocational services to students and adults with developmental, emotional, and physical challenges in Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

MEC delivers a broad range of professional development, facilities planning, and education-based technology services to educators, school districts, and cities and towns in New England. 

At the heart of MEC/MSEC's successful history are dedicated and committed professionals and personnel who work together to provide leadership and expertise that far exceed expectation. Our mission is to enrich the education and lives of students and adults, and to enhance the quality and capacity of our schools and other partner organizations.
