Current world and national events require that schools continue to be vigilant concerning student and staff safety and building security.
One only has to view the news to see that violence in private and public schools occurs all too often. Schools, large and small, public and private, have been the scene of many threats and tragedies. School safety continues to be a major issue among staff and parents.
Schools must be prepared to prevent and respond to school violence. Because you have not been a victim, don't be complacent.
