Merrimack Education Center, its divisions and parents (collectively, "MEC" or the "Organization") is a diversified educational and technological resource for schools, cities and towns and other non-profit organizations. MEC offers a broad range of special education transportation, professional development, and technology programs and solutions. MEC offers school districts, non-profit organizations and others the opportunity to take advantage of state-of-the-art, high quality educational and technical programs and services efficiently and at reasonable cost. Northeast Consortium for Staff Development (NCSD) offers a wide range of professional development opportunities for career Educators. We offer learning in diverse areas of study as well as accredited Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure. Programs help educators gain new knowledge and expertise in addition to advanced degrees, licensure, and recertification.
The Merrimack Education Center offers safe, affordable, efficient transportation to customers by combining school districts and out of district placements. MEC is able to provide these services at a significantly reduced cost due to the seamless routing of buses in contiguous towns. Our school buses are well maintained, clean, and driven by well trained, licensed, professional drivers.
Technology and Internet Solutions
Addition Networks, a division of the Merrimack Education Center, is a full service technology and Internet solutions provider. Addition Networks provides a wide range of technology products and services to schools, cities and towns, and other non-profit organizations. Addition Networks possesses the knowledge and experience to effectively build and maintain technology and Internet solutions for schools, libraries, municipal and government agencies, and other non-profit organizations.
